The Union of Chambers & Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Türkiye Sectoral Economy Council, under the leadership of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, convened a meeting bringing together key stakeholders including Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, and Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan as well as representatives from various ministries and other sectoral assembly presidents.
Turkish Natural Gas Assembly President İbrahim Akbal outlined three pressing issues and potential solutions for the sector to the council. He emphasized that addressing these issues would be crucial for establishing a transparent and competitive market, stimulating new investments, and ultimately achieving Türkiye’s ambition of becoming a natural gas trading hub.
